My name is Crystle. Director
I am the director here at Mumford Road Children’s Center.
I have been with my MRCC family, since opening, in 2012, as part of a long career as an ECE that began in 1999.
I’ve earned my ECE at St. Josephs College of Early Childhood Educators, however, I continue my education with both classroom and management training.
I come from a large family, inspiring my interest in working with children. Which lead me to pursue a career in childcare.
As a mother of two, I understand the importance of a fair, caring and loving environment for children and this perspective carries over to my work.
In my spare time, I enjoy being with my family and friends.
I believe that a little faith, positive attitude and a sense of humor goes a long way.

Children may forget what you said but they will not forget how you made them feel.
So I’m doing my best to make better environments for them to have more learning opportunities and give good impacts on them not only developmentally but also emotionally.
I wish everyone has beautiful and fun memories with us!

I love working with children & I grew up in a home run daycare. Helping out taking care of children at a young age led me to become a daycare teacher. I finished ECE Level 1 at NSCECE. I think daycare is a great experience for children and I’m happy I get the chance to be a part of this learning journey.

I have received a Diploma in Hearing, Language and Speech in India (2015). In addition, I am familiar with American and Indian Sign Language. I am certified in WHMIS. I have knowledge of the code of ethics and standards of practice. I am classified as a Level 2 Early Childhood Educator in the province of Nova Scotia. My goal is to become an American Sign Language Interpreter and work with children who require this skill. And, if possible, I would also like to become a superstar in the world of Indian pop music.
My name is Tali
Hello, my name is Tali, and I’ve had the privilege of working with Mumford Road Children’s Centre for the last three consecutive summers between years of college. The daycare has been one of my several jobs working with children, including babysitting since I was very young, and working with HRSB as an Educational Program Assistant. However, the daycare has by far been my favourite childcare job, because at the end of the day, I get to have an influence in so many little lives and there really is nothing better than getting to have a bunch of kids running up to you and yelling your name when you first walk through the door every morning. I’ve had the opportunity to see some of the sweetest baby faces grow working at MRCC. Along with the kids, I’ve found some great friends in the staff at this centre and am happy to be working with them as I move forward to pursue my childcare training at NSECE in the fall of 2019.
